  3. I think there will be a lot of problems with these chromebooks. Every teacher will have to change how they teach with this new idea. Even though it's cool that every student will get a chromebook, a lot will go wrong with them. Next year will deffinitly be very interesting.

  4. Hi Brian! Thanks for you comment. Hopefully you got a chance to watch the video. The great thing about the Chromebook is it actually can't get viruses and it updates itself. This eliminates a lot of problems that a traditional laptop would create. Also, you might find that a lot of your teachers are excited about this change and how their teaching will be different because of it. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the Chromebook! Feel free to come check mine out!

  5. Too bad im not going to be here next year....yea right!! This is a good idea for people that dont have internet access at home, but over all this is not that great of a product. First of all there is no hard drive, so you cant save it from the chrome book onto a flash drive and then open it on another computer that doesnt have internet. Also it has no word, excell, or power point. Google dox are way too simple for some of the things that are done is classes. The only thing the chrome book is really usefull for is to research and surf the internet.

  6. The chromebook sounds great although my teacher was complaining of how you can't use Microsoft Office. My english teacher isn't very fond of Google Docs and i agree. It messes up a lot of the format on papers. If the chromebook is around the same price range as a regular netbook, why not get a netbook instead that even has Word in it!? I guess teachers are concerned about students downloading junk onto their computers...who knows!
But i like that it doesn't need anti-virus either, thats a plus! +
can't wait for next year and see what these chromebooks are capable of :D

  7. With these Chromebooks some classes may not use them to their full potential(Math or English)But classes like Global Studies or Science will most like use them the most because you can look up past or current events or you can look up information on what your learning.

  8. Also if students set up a Google+ account they can use the hangout feature to make group video feature to do out of school activities or if a student is absent he/she won't have to miss a lot.
